Business Development Manager – Mid Level

Job Purpose:

To identify and analyse new business opportunities, producing critical analysis of the opportunities that the business should focus on. Develop and maintain effective commercial relationships with new and existing customers.

Accountabilities:

  • Following up on new business opportunities from initial stages (prospections) to the final stages (deal closure)
  • Planning and preparing presentations for internal and external customers and stake holders.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing, literature, initiatives, and any online presence (website, SEO search, etc.).
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer’s needs, mapping these to business strengths.
  • Promote the company’s services addressing and / or predicting current or future requirements of   new and existing customers.
  • Prepare RFQ’s, pricing proposals and presentations for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of business products, industry development and value propositions, attending trade shows and reading relevant literature. Stay up to date on corporate competitors.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree In Computer Science
  • Previous experience in a sales/ business development role with solutions selling
  • Analytical Skills
  • Computer Skills / Excel and Power Point at a very high level
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Very good Presentation Skills

Network & System Engineer

Role Objective

To provide day-to-day Technical Support to customers by maintaining their systems, investigating and tracking all issues, along with testing and deployment of software changes and new releases.
An ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements proactively and ensuring all SLA commitments are met.

Skills And Experiences

 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field will be highly regarded
  • Certified in Network and Security certifications(CCNA, CCNP, JNCP)
  • MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, MCSTS in Microsoft Technologies is Added advantage
  • Certified in Redhat Linux administration and management
  • Certified with VMware Professional (VCP)
  • Minimum 4-5 Years solid experience in technical hands on support roles:
  • Handling Network and Security domain
  • Experience in VMware Administration and Management
  • Experience in Redhat Linux
  • Knowledge on Microsoft SQL
  • Supporting Installations, Administration and Management of databases, including clustered servers
  • Supporting large systems with many users
  • Supporting Administration & Management of VMware Environments
  • Supporting a mixed Windows and Linux Environment – Administration & Management
  • Utilising Business Intelligence Skills – essentially QlikSense
  • Supporting Java based applications
  • Hands-on knowledge of Network administration skills are advantageous
  • Expertise in creating maintenance or deployment scripts in both Windows and Linux will be highly desirable
  • Expertise in VMware configuration and maintenance, particularly ESX Server and View would be highly desirable
  • Experience following ITIL processes for Incident management and Change & Release management
  • Possess the ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of a client while still adhering to company procedures and policies
  • Ability to develop and comprehend concepts and learn new skills quickly and thoroughly

Skills Required

Key Roles And Responsibility

  • Responsible for driving sales for the Cyber Security solutions across the GCC region
  • Engage with large Enterprise customers and manage opportunities from initiation to closure
  • Build solid, independent Eco system within the partner network to drive sales and pre-sales activities
  • Achieve quarterly and annual quota for the area
  • Equip sales/channel team with the necessary product knowledge to enable them to sell the product better
  • Manage and own vendor relationship by constantly engaging them on sales and channel activities
  • Meet large enterprise customers directly to make opportunities for the technologies
  • Report progress weekly and monthly basis
  • Support partners in pricing, RFP preparation and response
  • Responsible for reviewing product information to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products.
  • Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and work collaboratively with fellow workers and partner sales team to address any opportunity from start to closure.
